Patrick is a former technology marketer that left the marketing world behind to pursue a job that he was passionate about. I remember getting the call a few years ago when he told me that he is going to sell chainless bicycles. I was totally jealous. How cool is that? Patrick founded Dynamic Bicycles and has been extremely successful selling his line of chainless bikes.

Recently Patrick made on post on his Chainless Revolution Blog about doing a green media tour in NYC. He spent two days riding around NYC meeting with editors and journalists, showing them his new line of bikes.

Now, I don't have any stats, but Patrick might have accomplished a first. The first New York City media tour completely pedal powered.

I asked Patrick if he had pictures or photos I could throw in this post, unfortunately he didn't, but promised next time.

I was also wondering if Patrick used an enormous chain to lock his bike. One thing I always notice when I'm walking around the streets of NYC is the size of these enormous chains people use to lock up their bikes. I went looking for a photo on Flickr of these chains and found this image called:

The Kryptonite New York Chain Lock - how appropriate.
